1. I had a WONDERFUL holiday. I am so relaxed I am almost comatose and feel like a new woman. The dark circles under my eyes have reduced, my skin has cleared up (and I have a lovely sunkissed glow!), I am rested and relaxed and just feel fantastic. And of course, absence makes the heart grow fonder and I was thrilled to see the husband and the kids when I got back, I missed them all SO much. The break has done me the absolute world of good, and I am back on top form. I have my appointment with the cardiologist next week, and I am hoping that I get the all-clear, and the break will hopefully stand me in good stead for that too.

3. The house is still standing, and none of the children were misplaced in my absence. It was hard to leave them, and to be away, but it is actually comforting to know that the husband can run the house, work and take care of the children without me. God forbid anything ever happens to me (and after my heart scare earlier this year, it has - naturally - crossed my mind several times) I know that he will be able to take care of things and everything, he, the children, life in general, would be just fine. It's a bit morbid I know, but you can't help but wonder, particularly after a serious health issue. It makes me happy, to know that.
