Reasons to be Cheerful at Mummy from the Heart

This day seems to roll around faster and faster. I can't believe it is June tomorrow, how did that happen? On with week 22 of reasons to be cheerful, please click the linky and visit the lovely host Michelle for her weekly round up of #R2BC.

My inspiration this week is 'the little things in life', as sometimes they can make the biggest difference to your happiness.

1. It's half term next week! We're looking forward to family weekend, having our own mini Jubilee celebration on Sunday and spending some quality time together. Tomorrow the boys have to dress in red, white and/or blue for the day and will be having a play day at school. It will be nice to be able to wind down from the flurry of activity we have had in the past few weeks, with me being away, and Joshua taking his SATs and then having a week away at Pencelli (which he came from with infected eczema on his legs bless his heart. A course of antibiotics is currently clearing it up very well). It's be nice to relax for a week together before the final stretch before the Summer holidays. After the half term holiday we have a few things to look forward to, Logan's first trip away with the school, the kids school sports days and Joshua's Leaver's assembly, as he will be staring Secondary school in September. Lots to look forward to!

2. I had a nice night out with my sister yesterday, we went to the cinema to see "What To Expect When You're Expecting" which I thoroughly enjoyed and will be writing a review on sometime in the near future. It was nice to have a girls night out to watch a good old chick flick.

3. Logan and Harrison are making fantastic progress with their swimming lessons. I am so proud of how well they are doing and how much effort they are putting in to their learning. I wrote a post about swimming lessons this week detailing my thoughts and feelings about them, and I have to say that this has been money well spent. They are having fun and learning a life skill, what's not to like about that.

  5. Lovely R2BCs. Enjoy the half term, I think we all breath a sigh of relief in that Summer term, it's all so busy isn't it? My Daughter started secondary last year, I hope your son loves his last term and leaver's assembly it's all such fun for them...a steep learning curve coming up!
