It's slow cooker week! I have decided to give my new spangly red-to-match-my-kitchen (and my gorgeous new kettle & toaster) Morphy Richards slow cooker (replacing my poor old white one that was falling apart) a good exercise this week, lots of easy meals slow cooked to perfection ready for us at the end of the day with the exception of our Mexican night on Friday of course!
Monday 2nd July - Chicken Cacciatore served with mashed potato
Tuesday 3rd July - Spaghetti Bolognese served with garlic bread
Wednesday 4th July - Crock Pot Barbecue Chicken served with oven-baked potatoes & corn on the cob
Thursday 5th July - Spanish Pork
Friday 6th July - Chicken Fajitas served with cheesy nachos and savoury rice
Saturday 7th July - Slow cooker Shredded Barbecue Beef served on toasted buns with salad
-- I have added all of the slow cooker recipes used for this meal plan to my blog, and linked up with the weekly #mealplanningmonday blog hop at Mrs M's.
Good for you getting the slow cooker out, it is so nice having your meal prepared ready for the evening. Apparently everything I make in the slow cooker tastes like stew so love to know your recipes :-)

ReplyDeleteThis all sounds delicious. I hardly use my slow cooker. Lots of dishes here to get me to drag it out of the cupboard.
ReplyDeleteIt's been great this week, when I get up in the morning I am full of energy so I can throw it all in and turn it on and it is DONE! No getting to the evening and thinking "Ugh I am knackered and now I have to make dinner...". Makes my life so much easier x
