#R2BC - Reasons to be cheerful... 1, 2, 3

Thursday, 6 September 2012

It's that time again, so here I am to share with you my reasons to be cheerful this week. The linky is being guest hosted by the lovely Maria at Tiger Tales so please go say hello and link up! Next week #R2BC heads back home to owner & creator Michelle at Mummy From The Heart.

Let's crack on shall we...

1. I won't witter on about it because I already wrote an entry about my wonderful 30th birthday here, but I really did have the most fantastic weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was everything I had hoped it would be.

2. The big four have started back at school and had great first days. J in particular has settled in to senior school and enjoyed his first day there in his new class. The others have bounced straight back in like they've never been away although we did have four very tired big kids yesterday afternoon, teen even went to bed early after having had a nap when she got home. That'll teach her to stay up late BBM & Skyping I guess! I added a pic of them in their uniforms yesterday for #SnapHappyBritMums & #TheGallery Back to School theme.

3. I'm going to spend the rest of this week (*surveys destruction around me*... er, and probably all of next) putting my house back in order. We're rejigging the boys bedroom & replacing their chests of drawers, and also adding a little desk area for J to do his homework so that all needs doing ASAP. I'm rather looking forward to it actually, getting back in to order and routine ready for the Autumn & Winter ahead.

  2. I'm sad that summer is over, but the school year is definitely easier in terms of routine and everyone knowing what they need to do. Happy Birthday!

The kids have settled back in well but are all so tired, I think it will take a few weeks for them to readjust back to a school timetable! x
