How is it Thursday already? Seriously? When did that happen (yes yes, after Wednesday, very good!). Middle of September already nearly, it will soon be time to start thinking about the festival that happens in December and begins with 'C'... I won't say it. But you know which one I mean.
The lovely Mich is back from her Summer break and the linky is back home at Mummy From The Heart this week so be sure to head over & link up.
My biggest reason to be cheerful this week has to be Logan's fantastic progress that I wrote about in the entry Pride. I honestly am just thrilled and so proud of him I could burst! My other #R2BC this week are...
1. My mum suffered an injury to her shoulder several months ago and ever since has had pain in her shoulder & arm. After several investigations by the doctors they discovered, after an MRI, that she has extensive damage to the tendons, muscles and ligaments in her shoulder and needs surgery. She was able to secure a cancellation appointment for surgery for tomorrow, and - fingers crossed - can start feeling human again. Such was the damage to her arm that she has been unable to sleep from the pain, and cannot lift her arm higher than her waist & has no movement in the shoulder, and she has also suffered a mild stroke since the injury occurred. I am hoping that the surgery will be successful and fix her up so she can get back to normal, although she will be 'out of action' for a while during her recovery.
2. The Autumn clear out at home has begun in earnest! I love "Autumn cleaning" and getting my little 'nest' ready for the colder weather and winter months to come. We've even hired a skip so we can strip the garden back too, and just to get rid of everything we don't need that can't be sold on or given away/recycled.
3. Tonight I am seeing my best friend, and putting the world to rights. I am very much looking forward to a girly night in with some wine and good company.

Sorry to hear about your mum - I do hope she is back to herself soon xx
