#R2BC - Reasons to be cheerful... 1, 2, 3

Thursday, 18 October 2012

Thursday is here again, which means it is almost time for the weekend, hurrah! This week's #R2BC is hosted by the lovely Becky at Lakes Single Mum so be sure to pop over to read and link up.

It has been a busy week and I am shattered, Sunday honestly cannot come soon enough so I can have a day in my PJs doing nothing at all, just hanging out with the kids. I think we could all do with it really, we've all been a bit tired & snappy.

1. The event my sister and I have been working on for weeks is THIS SATURDAY! Exciting! Puddy Muddles in Bradford on Avon is having 'Peppa Pig Day' at the shop from 9.30am - 4.30pm where customers can bring their little ones to meet Peppa and get a free book and/or balloon (books only available while stocks last of course!). Eva's Kitchen will be serving lots of Peppa themed goodies and there will also be a little stall by Becks Beauties offering free glitter tattoos. Fingers crossed the weather will be nice, and it should turn out to be a good day!

2. Half term starts next week, and like I mentioned above it can't come soon enough! The kids are worn out already (and actually so are three pairs of school shoes and a bag...) so hopefully this will give them some time out to have a bit of a rest ready for the final term before CHRISTMAS. Yes. I said it.

3. Another of my sisters and I have been making plans and organising a family 'do for Bonfire Night, we're going to have food and fireworks and all get together with our kids to enjoy the evening and have some fun, which I am really looking forward to. With that and Halloween I am especially excited about the next few weeks, particularly as that means lots of baking opportunities!

Lots to look forward to in the coming weeks, exactly why this is my favourite time of year!
