Here we are again ladies and gents, happy Thursday everyone. #R2BC is hosted by the lovely Michelle at Mummy From The Heart so be sure to head over and link up.
1. Christmas is only 60 sleeps away! Two months today! I cannot wait. I’ve been buying little bits & bobs through the year and putting money away each week, in a couple of weeks the Mister and I are going to go out and do a big Christmas present shop, which I am very much looking forward to! I’ve got a few ideas of things I want to get but we’re going to head into Bristol and test things out in the shops sans kids to make sure we’re getting the right ones!
I have already begun putting money away for next year now too, it’s so nice knowing that Christmas is paid for. I’ve started now so that I will have a bit more for 2013, with the kids getting older their taste is getting more expensive so this way I know that I will have it to spend. I never go mad at Christmas though, I really don’t see the point, plus they have plenty throughout the year so there’s no need. For us, the best part of the holidays is spending time together doing things as a family. I put a real emphasis on spending our time together baking and making decorations and watching movies, because in ten years time they probably won’t remember the presents that they got, but they will remember our quality time and that is what is really important.
2. Half term has landed. This morning we all had a lie in and a lazy start to the day which was lovely. We hung out in our jimjams until midday, I managed to get all of the clean laundry put away and a couple of loads washed and A & J did helped out with some housework while I was out with L, H & E. Dinner is on now, and we’re cosying down for a quiet evening at home in the warm.

What are your reasons to be cheerful this week? Why not link up and share with us all!
