I can't believe how quickly Christmas is creeping up, I am SO relieved that I am semi prepared already otherwise I may be starting to panic right about now. I still have a few things left to get but I am feeling pretty good about where I am with it so far. Speak to me about it again in a few weeks haha.
I hope everyone is having a great week, and that you all have lots of things to be cheerful about! This week has been busy as will the next few weeks (for most people I imagine) but I will do my best to get round and read everyone's reasons to be cheerful this week. Thanks so much for your comments on my post last week and thanks to the lovely Michelle for hosting this linky.
1. Christmas is coming! I am so excited. I'm going to be sharing my favourite Christmas recipes, ideas and family traditions in the coming weeks and I hope everyone will come by to read, and hopefully share their own with me too. I'm always looking for ways to make the most of the season, I want my kids to know that it's not just about one day and nor is it just about presents. I'm going to have them help me wrap gifts for family, and we always bake and make decorations and really get in to the spirit of it all. The Mummy Blogger and other lovely Twitter ladies have given me some great ideas for brown paper wrapping, we're going to get stuck in to that soon which I know the kids will love. I've made a Pinterest board to save some ideas that I have come across or that have been shared with me so I can keep everything in one place!

3. It's H's birthday next week and his party is all sorted and organised, I'm just sorting out the catering and then we'll be good to go. He's had lots of RSVPs (more than I anticipated in all honesty, I thought I would send extra invites to make up for any who might not be able to make it and have shot myself in the foot because they have all said yes! Oh well, the more the merrier!) and it should be a really fun day, I hope he enjoys it.
What are your reasons to be cheerful this week?
