E also chose to take a tub of peanuts for "Mr Squirret" who lives down the lane, so we stopped off to feed him too although he was probably off snoozing somewhere warm.
E is getting really quick on her balance bike, she was a bit timid at first but has really found her feet and now she will just take off as fast as her little legs will take her.
We're really looking forward to the Spring, when she won't end up with a little red nose after speeding off down a hill! It is so lovely to watch her confidence grow as she perfects her new riding skills.

Balance bikes are a wonderful invention. I am looking into having one at Coombe Mill for our guests to try out. You post makes me think it is a good idea. Thanks for sharing.
Balance bikes are the best! Our wee man is slowly starting to pick up speed and is loving it!
