It's a tradition I've carried on with my family, every year we have a special themed dinner for Guy Fawkes night. The kids love having sausage & bacon rolls, stuffed full of fried onions and slathered in their favourite sauces. They're best enjoyed in front of a roaring bonfire, you might even enjoy toasting some marshmallows for dessert!
We were sent some spoiltpig sausages & Denhay smoked streaky bacon to try out ahead of the big night to celebrate British Sausage Week (4th-11th November 2013).
Along with Eat 17 chilli bacon jam (which is my new favourite and tastes absolutely AMAZING), Tracklements spicy tomato sauce & spiced honey mustard, we had all of the necessary ingredients to create some mouthwatering delights.
We opted for our traditional sausage & bacon rolls, with a dollop of chilli bacon jam. The spoiltpig pork & herb sausages are my favourite, and I reluctantly shared them with the Mister & kids who enjoyed them just as much as I did!

Denhay Farms are running a competition this week over on their Facebook page asking fans to submit their sausage recipes (with a photo) to win a fab hamper of sausages & bacon and a casserole dish as well as Tracklements ketchup and mustard.
The recipes will be added to their Facebook album and on Denhay’s website, get yours in now!
What's your favourite sausage recipe? What are your plans for bonfire night?
We received a complimentary spoiltpig Bonfire Night Banger Box for review purposes. The views shared are my own personal & honest opinions and written in my own words.
