There are times when you are just compelled to take a photograph of something, which makes me eternally grateful for the invention of camera phones. One morning before Christmas I had dropped off E at preschool and as I was leaving, I looked out across the town and was met with this breathtaking view of a Winter's morning.
Unfortunately my phone wasn't able to capture it as I could see it, but looking at this photo I can remember just how beautiful it was, and can picture it clearly in my mind. I am often so busy rushing between places that I don't take the time to stop and appreciate what is around me, but this particular morning I stopped and I took a moment - and I am so very glad that I did.
I have linked this post with #theGallery theme MORNING at The Sticky Fingers Blog.
Well isn't that a dramatic sky!
