We have just returned from a wonderful long weekend in Cornwall, and while we were there we visited the utterly breathtaking National Trust site, Kynance Cove. We all clambered down the rocky path to the beach and revelled in its natural unspoilt beauty. Even the children were in awe. It was a grey day, but the light over the water was really something to behold.

What lovely pictures x
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful and makes me realise how much I miss Cornwall. Such a lovely part of our country and your photos capture the Cove perfectly!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is stunning. It must have been good for the kids to be impressed! (I know my kids aren't usually taken with views and light and that sort of thing!) I've never been to Cornwall in autumn, we ought to give it a go one day.
ReplyDeleteHaha, exactly Sarah! It was E (4) who piped up first with "Wow Mummy, it's so pretty!" which I thought was really sweet! They all loved it and have asked to go again some time.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteThe symmetries in the 2nd photo are so intriguing, I love it.
ReplyDeleteThere is something quite magical about the light in Cornwall - I'm sure that's why so many artists reside there (and the gorgeous scenery!). What a lovely experience for you.
