Mama OWL Blog: What E Wore | Some Winter Warmers

What E Wore | Some Winter Warmers

Thursday, 15 January 2015

I don't know about the rest of you but I find myself longing for the Spring more and more each day. I am so tired of the dark mornings and evenings, miserable weather and general BLAH of Winter. I won't miss it when it's over, that's for sure. With that in mind, E needed some outerwear to bolster her Winter wardrobe and make sure she is kept warm and dry during these chilly Winter months.

E and I chose this beautiful padded indigo jacket with a zip-off fur hood which is very warm, and perfect for these darker mornings & evenings with its high-vis strips & logo. It certainly keeps her nice and snug on the playground as we wait for school to start.

With all this rain about, a girl needs a good pair of wellies to keep her feet dry. Unfortunately they're not the best things for keeping your toes cosy, so you'll need to get some welly liners too. Luckily, Muddy Puddles had just the things we were looking for and we chose these pink fleece welly liners (that come with their own little bag!) to go with E's pretty navy spot print wellington boots.

We're now all prepared for the blustery conditions that often greet us on Sundays when watching her big brothers play football and rugby, so along with E's cosy toes she'll be nice & toasty in her beautiful raspberry cosy cloud fleece (which is so soft it has to be felt to be believed!), with her PuddlePac over the top to keep her dry. They'll come in handy for our trips to & from the pool for her swimming lessons every week, too.

    1. I agree, I think it is a lovely colour combo. The fleece is so soft, once she has it on she doesn't want to take it off again :)
