Half Term in Kos with Mark Warner Holidays | #ShepsGoToLaki

Monday, 2 November 2015

We have just returned from a week at Lakitira Beach Resort on the beautiful Greek island of Kos with Mark Warner Holidays as one of their #MarkWarnerMum family ambassadors. Having already sampled a break in Corsica with our youngest three children earlier in the year we were very excited to go away as a complete family of seven and see what Lakitira had to offer our teenagers with their outstanding childcare and kids clubs which are, in our experience, absolutely second to none.

Entertaining five children of such widely varying ages (from 17 down to 5) including one with additional needs on holiday is no mean feat, but I am delighted to say that we had a wonderful week away with only a few minor mishaps and meltdowns, and it was truly a holiday to remember. I'm looking forward to sharing our experience at Lakitira here on the blog over a series of posts which I've called #ShepsGoToLaki as that's the hashtag we used on social media (including Instagram and Twitter) while we were away, and I hope you will enjoy reading about it and finding out what we all got up to in Kos.

Lovely Things The Twinkle Diaries

Mark Warner Holidays provided flights and half board accommodation for five people as part of the #MarkWarnerMum Ambassadorship. All opinions and words are my own.

  1. Oh that would definitely be a lovely holiday! I've been to Rhodes Island in Greece and I loved it there, one of the few places I want to visit again, although I've heard a lot of lovely places Greece to visit too...Looking forward to reading more posts about your holiday soon! #lovelythings

    1. Haha! We really did have the best of both worlds at Lakitira, the children are so well catered for and loved joining in with clubs and activities, which meant that the Mister and I had time to relax too, it was great.

    1. It was very much needed, lovely to go away just the seven of us and have some time together. The resort was amazing, we didn't want to come home! Thank you.
